MSR really perfected this design, which has yet to be surpassed by (nearly) any other tent manufacturer (possible exception: MSR Hubba Hubba HP 2-Person Tent). The hub pole is simple and lightweight, making set up a breeze. The fine mesh allows for great ventilation, further weight shavings, and excellent star gazing on nights without the rain fly. The coatings on both the fly and floor of the tent are very strong and ample for, dare I say, 'excessive' waterproofing. The interior walls are drawn nearly vertical to create a welcoming large space inside, complemented by two roomy vestibules for your gear and nice, bright colors to add a little cheer if you end up caught in your tent during a downpour. "It' is what it is" &" is what it does"
OK, Well I got this unit for one purpose and that was baseball!!!!! I coach and it is a super great unit to aid in pitching and even bat speed. It does what it's supposed to do. It's not a "Swiss Army Radar Unit" one reviewer seems to have wanted it to do something more. It does one thing, checks speed and it does this well. If your buying it to pretend your a police officer, yes you'll use it a few times and get bored. If that's the case spend your money more wisely.
By the way "I DO NOT" work for this company but I do give this unit 5 stars for the mobility, size and accuracy. Yes, it is very accurate for my needs. If you have the need for an actual compact radar unit to check speed I'd suggest buying it. If not then it's your choice on what you spend your money on!!!

Needs built in digital camera and download capabilities
Using the Pocket Radar, I was pleasantly surprised to find that 90% of the people driving through our neighborhood drive within 5 MPH of the speed limit. However, I did clock a pizza delivery kid going 15 MPH over the speed limit. I wish the Pocket Radar had a digitial camera that could photograph an object as well as measure its speed. A picture of the speeding pizza delivery kid with his speed emblazoned on it sent to his boss might slow him down in the future.

The device needs a built in digital camera and download capabilities. Otherwise, it is just an expensive toy.

Very Accurate, Unrivaled in Size
I ordered a Pocket Radar direct from the manufacturer. Here is my experience with the unit and with the company. I felt compelled to make this my first Amazon review, as this product is so new, there are few reviews out there for potential purchasers to read.

I read the reviews here of the Pocket Radar, and like others, I was a little suspicious of so many 5 star reviews posted within such a short time frame.
I decided to go straight to the source for an answer, so I e-mailed the Pocket Radar group.

I was quite surprised when I received a long, personal reply the following day from Chris Stewart, who turned out to be the president of Pocket Radar.

In his e-mail Chris even mentioned that he is usually the one answering the phones at Pocket Radar as well. Just as he said, when I called the toll-free number for Pocket Radar, it was Chris who promptly answered. I spent the next 40 minutes or so talking to Chris about the design and development of the unit...and about the reviews here on Amazon.

After speaking with Chris, I felt confident that the reviews were probably legitimate here, and the dates coincided with the initial roll-out of the Pocket Radar. In my super sleuthing, I did notice that a review here from Demi Basiliades, who has an association with Pocket Radar according to his LinkedIn page. Chris explained to me that Demi was among a few people who contacted Pocket Radar with interest in testing the device and providing reviews. Regardless, the man running the company seemed quite honest and straight-forward with me, so after our conversation, I provided him my credit card number and purchased my own unit to try.

The Pocket Radar is roughly the size of the average smartphone out there, slightly thicker and heavier due to all the electronics that must be crammed inside. The unit felt very durable, no cheap, squeaky plastic here. The display is large and easy to read as long as there's adequate lighting. The display was very simple with huge numbers and a small indicator to let you know when the radar is currently transmitting. Although I certainly didn't try to damage my unit, Chris of Pocket Radar told me they had performed durability tests by tossing the unit from the roof of a building.

There's no learning curve to using the Pocket Radar *itself.* The big red button is self-explanatory in my opinion. Press and release the button to get a speed reading within just a second. Hold down the red button if you want to continuously shoot radar and receive updated readings over and over. The smaller button serves as a recall to pull up your last readings.

Although the Pocket Radar is very intuitive, you will need a rudimentary understanding of how radar works in order to use any radar device. The FAQ on [...] is very thorough and will answer just about any question you may have. In a perfect situation (like cop speed traps) you'll be facing your target head-on or positioned to shoot the back of the target as it moves away from you. The larger the angle you put between you and your target, the more error you introduce into your measurements. If you shoot at the side of a target, you're going to get a 0 on the display or close to it...same as any radar device.

Unlike the other reviewer, I try to avoid cops with their own radar guns, so I can't compare it to LEO radar. However, my car has a digital speedometer. If you aim the Pocket Radar at a stationary object while traveling in a moving vehicle, you get the speed of the vehicle. Using this method multiple times over a period of 2 weeks, the Pocket Radar proved to be very accurate, returning readings exactly matching my speedometer or measuring only 1 MPH different ever.

The unit takes 2 AAA batteries, which are in the box. I used rechargeable NIMH batteries instead, and they worked just fine. Even using the unit taking continuous readings, I didn't manage to drain the batteries down below 2 of 4 bars. The batteries are easy to change. The battery door just slides off. The door fits on snugly, and there are no little tabs to break off like the battery doors on television remotes.

Being the geek I am, I was excited when I saw videos of the Pocket Radar at CES. I didn't really have a *need* for the Pocket Radar, but I really wanted to see how I could use this technology now that it has been shrunk down to cell phone size. I used the Pocket Radar at youth baseball games, autocross events, and for anything else I could think of that moved. I measured my dogs. I measured my nephews on bikes and on foot (they excitedly volunteered!).

I also finally got some closure on just how dangerous I believe the blind curve is in front of my house. Having totaled a car before even leaving my driveway due to a speeding State Farm Insurance Agent in a Ford F150 with no time to react, I always wanted some validation that people drive too fast in my neighborhood. Well, the first few minutes I stood by my mailbox one afternoon, I clocked cars: 34, 31, 33...no big deal. Then I say hello to a couple walking their dogs in front of my house, and BAM a Dodge Ram comes flying around the corner. He has to hit his brakes and swerve to the middle of the road to avoid clipping these people. The Pocket Radar read 54 MPH! The Pocket Radar would be the perfect tool for concerned citizens looking to collect data to show the need for speed bumps or other measures. On a side note, the Pocket Radar operates on K-Band, so a few speed demons with radar detectors slowed down immediately when they came across my speed trap.

There were just a couple improvements I'd like to see in future revisions:

The red button feels mushy with little button travel, making it difficult to tell if I had really activated the radar. It'd be much nicer with a firmer feel and a tactile click when pressed.

At night or in dimly lit stadiums, the device was useless without a backlight. I spent way too much time trying to shine my cell phone screen onto the Pocket Radar display so I could try to make out the numbers. The display looks ripe for an electroluminescent backlight.


Overall, I think this is a great product, being a first release from a new company. It has the accuracy to be rated as a police radar, and if the company ever follows through with required certification, I'm sure the units could be sold for quite a few more dollars to law enforcement. The case is durable and feels good in the hand. You can easily slip this in your pocket or bag, so there's no excuse for leaving it at home if you think you could use it. I believe the unit said it was made in Korea, but the Pocket Radar company is based in California, and you speak directly to the president of the company when you call their support line. It really sounded like a great group of smart guys are behind this product, so if you have any issues, I'm sure they'll take care of you.

This is a very good tool for baseball
I've had the pocket radar for 3 weeks now and Wow. There are so many uses for it. We have used it to set the speed for our pitching machine at practices, and to check the speeds of the pitchers throwing a bullpen, I have used at games to see how hard the pitchers of both teams are throwing and no one knows what you are doing because it looks like a phone or a camera . It can be used a lot at practice to check the runners speeds and to see who slows down getting to 1st, and to see the speed of the throws from short to 1st. I have used it to check the speed of the ball coming off the bat when my sons are doing tee work or short toss, that part takes a little practice of timing when you push and release the button. If you want to compare it to the more expensive radar guns like Jugs or Stalker, with those radar guns you pull the trigger and hold it when you release it will give you the peak speed and plate speed. If you try to compare them side by side it all depends on your reaction time of pushing the button and releasing if you want the peak speed. I have found my teenage sons can get within 1 mile hr. You will get the correct speed but it might not be peak or plate speed. I have old man reaction time. Now just out of curiosity when I have been out driving and see one of the Pole-Mount Radar-Speed Signs I will hold up the pocket radar and the readings are the same of both of them if I'm the only car going by it.

Better ways to spend 0
Ok, I may not work for Pocket Radar but I thought I'd post a review anyway. This radar gun is cool, yes, it's true. It may have even won some award or something. But after a while of playing around with it, you'll realize that that's all your doing, playing around with it... If you have 0 to throw out on a toy, go for it. Otherwise, maybe there's something more pressing you should be spending your money on??

SGX issues...
I bought the SGX yesterday and charged it for 3 hours before going to play. I went out without "sync"ing the unit and on the third hole, it stopped working.....would not recognize the satellites. I "synched" the unit and then tried resetting the GPS and still nothing. I called tech support who confirmed the unit "went bad". So 0 for the unit, another for a membership and I'm stuck with a paperweight. I returned the unit and got a refund back on my subscription... Let someone else work out the kinks...

Great golf helper
Purchased this item in July 2010 after I had heard all the plus/negative about the new unit. My son had an older unit that we enjoyed together. I had no problem downloading or registering my product but then I am only running Windows XP. I use it not only on the course for yardage measurements but also to keep score and track my shots (number of putts per round, driving distance etc.) and then upload them to my account so I can see where I need work on my game. Just like anything else it is only as good as you want it to be or the time that you are willing to take using the features it has. Also really like the way the "track button" works to move the cursor on the screen. Would I recommend it - yes.

Great Product
Recieved my Skycaddie SGX in the mail yesterday. Read the instructions and had no problems at all with activating, syncing, downloading courses etc. Any updates to the SGX software automaticly get uploaded when you plug it into the computer. Very happy with my purchase. Would recommend this item to anyone who wants to improve thier game.

SGX synk still a problem
I was not able to synk. The unit froze. TA from Skygolf was easy to reach and patient, however not able to resolve the problem. They were willing to send a new unit, I decieded to return. I am running Windows Vista 64bit.

SGX - Read Before Buying
Purchased SGX. Unit locked up during activation. Called service center from overseas and placed on hold for 1-hour. Additional 30-minutes of troubleshooting with final resolution to replace unit. 4-weeks later - still no replacement. Finally, replacement was shipped but missing AC adaptor plug and I was expected to pay shipping of 0+ - added to the international phone bill - I could have purchased two devices.

Love my older model - but have never received such poor service re: any purchase in my life. The company knew it was selling a faulty device - had software patch download on net - had special number to call for SGX issues - but still sold it and still charged me 0 + in shipping fees to replace their issue.

What a rip off...

Great practice tool
This product came out of the box in pieces, but within 30 minutes I had it assembled. Instructions are quite basic, but I can figure things out fairly easy without detailed instructions. Once assembled, the rebounder is especially springy. When struck by the ball in the "sweet spot" it rebounds with great force. The product is of good quality materials and should last for several years. My only complaint is that the included pegs to keep the rebounder in one place don't seem to be enough to keep it down when the ball strikes the metal frame. The soil I have it pegged down to is not loose, but your typical grassy lawn. I'm planning to devise a way to make it more permanent on the ground. As it is now I am having to constantly hammer the pegs back into the ground and change their positions from time to time to keep it snugly on the ground. Product quality is great, and with some extra effort on my part it will be hassle free.

Sturdy practice net
We've had this Franklin net for a couple of months now. It was easy to assemble and surprisingly sturdy after assembly. My 8-year-old son uses the net to practice by himself. It takes hard shots very nicely and stays in place (using 4 u-shaped hooks that you bang in the ground). What's great is he gets a better practice in as the ball comes back at him and he tries to continuously kick the ball at the net. You can change the angle of the net easily if you want. The only thing I don't like is that it's not real convenient to put it away and then set it up with any frequency as you have to pull out the hooks and drive them in each time.

Just What We Wanted
The rebounder was easy to set up and my 7 and 10 year-old sons have spent hours playing with it. We are very satisfied.

Great fun but fragile
This rebounder is great fun but the lower joints collapsed after only 2 weeks of use. Potential solutions: (i) only use this rebounder from 10 feet away instead of 20, (ii) brace the lower-front joints with the pins provided, (iii) re-design the lower-front joints to be a single 3-fingered piece, instead of 3 pieces connected by just one screw.

This rebounder works great! It is bigger than I thought and a little hard to fit in the car... but it is a quality product.

sturdy and functional
I quit using my pull cart in 1985, choosing to carry my clubs instead because it was a pain in the neck to pull my cart around the green to the next tee. This year, after several years away from the game, I realized that I didn't have the energy to hoist my bag after every stroke and carry it for more than a couple of holes. The Clicgear 3.0 push cart has turned out to be a really good purchase for me. The cart is well balanced and rolls easily on the courses that I have taken it onto. I was suspicious of the bungee-cord bag retention system, but it works much better than I had expected. The unit folds easily into a compact package, but I wish it would fold with my golf bag attached. The folding/unfolding process is not a simple one, but it is easy to master if you work through the well-written instructions a few times. The scorecard holder has a generous storage compartment, and the net just below the holder is very useful. I can't speak to the cart's durability, but it seems sturdy and well built. I expect it to last for years. Clicgear makes a number of nifty accessories for the cart, but I haven't gotten any of them...yet.

Clicgear 3.0
I have had this speed push cart for about 3 months now. I love the cart. I store it at the course so don't have to fold/unfold it but it's small shape when folded seems to be a class leader. It fit easily in the trunk of my small car when I first took it to the club. The wheels are large and have great bearings so it rolls very easily and tracks truly. If not the front wheel is adjustable to keep it in alignment. My course is flat but the grass is a bit thick however the large wheels easily allow it to even push easily through thick rough. I know, I shouldn't be in the rough but what can you do sometimes.

I would heartily recommend this to any golfer that wants to walk but wants more with them on the course than can be kept in a smaller carry bag.

I bought this product a few months ago after reading rave reviews. I agree so strongly with those reviews that I am writing my own review. I play 6 days a week and wanted to get some exercise and not pay cart fees. I figured if I am going to walk I might as well have the best cart there is. This is definitely the Cadillac of push carts....

Pros:
Cart folds and unfolds easily and quickly.
Main handle can be adjusted up or down and then left in that position. You do not need to put it in an upright position when folding the cart.
Console is very handy, I hold my tee's, spare balls and my iphone (GPS) inside.
The storage net is deceivingly large it can hold three empty beer cans!
Rolls down the fairway nearly effortlessly. Uphill you have to push it, but it won't wear you out.
Break handle is very convenient, the previous model 2.0 the break handle seemed less convenient.
Bag attaches quickly and securely. The elastic straps with clips are excellent.
Cart is very well made and very attractive.

Cons:
The new drink holder is supposed to be a big plus over the previous model. I don't have any experience with the old model for comparison. The drink holder clips into a handy position beside the console. I purchased a tall 24 ounce insulated bottle which fits nicely. The problem I have is that my bottle keeps falling forward or backward and its a pain in the a** to keep it upright. I just need to figure out some jury rigged solution to keep my bottle upright.. Probably with a standard 12 ounce bottle this is less of a problem.
FYI:
The width of the cart outside to outside of the back wheels is 31 1/8", I mention this because if you have any narrow walkways for walkers you might want to make sure the walkway is wide enough! This cart just barely makes it width wise on two walkways on my home course. It would have been a deal breaker for me... Not taking the walkway would have meant walking the much longer route every round, ummm NO. Luckily for me it just makes it.

Recommendation:
Buy this cart, you won't regret it.

Clicgear 3.0 Push Cart is GREAT!
I bought this for two reasons: (1) to save cart fees and (2) to get more exercise.

On weekends it saves me per round over the gas cart. It also allows for lots more exercise. I am 50 years old. This cart is a Cadillac! It rolls really, really smooth and easily carries my full set of clubs and cooler of drinks, no problem.
I can't wait for cooler weather here in South Carolina!

The only thing I do not like about it is that it can pinch the daylights out of your hand the first five or six times you unlock/unfold it. It just takes a little practice. Be careful.

Note that it is a "push" rather than a "pull" cart. Fellow golfers are interested in it and ask about it --- a lot. The drink holder is outstanding. I love keeping extra balls and tees in the net and my cell phone in the spacious compartment in front of the push handle. This cart is very compact!.

Extremely well-engineered - obviously by golfers who walk a lot. Awesome construction and materials. Wheels do get dirty (be sure to order the inexpensive cover for the wheels).

I love it and it was a wonderful buy that has almost paid for itself already!

Great for airsoft players and milsim scenarios
Very durable material. You can customize the vest by attaching extra two magazine pouch which can fit one or two M4 or AK magazines by simply removing the pistol holster. You can also attach a hydration back pack or attach extra pouches at the back using the molle (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) system. The belt is heavy duty and has extra two small pouches that can fit pistol magazines or small tools or flashlights.

Be aware about the Velcro because it can attract dirt and dust easily. Wash by hands and hang dry only. Do not use starch or any fabric softener or bleach.

Cool vest, Great price!
I just got this vest today, and so far, I really like it! There are plenty of pockets for magazines and gadgets. My Taurus PT-92AF full-size pistol fits the holster perfectly, but I'm planning on getting a thigh rig for it...the holster is a tad big for my Bersa 9 Ultra Compact Pro, but I can live with that. Right now in my vest there's my Bersa, with an extra mag, 2 Taurus 9mm mags, 3 5.56 mags, 6 shotgun shells, a compass, and a surefire flashlight. There's also room for another 5.56 mag, 2 more pistol mags on the belt, and pouch for a first aid dressing. There is also a large mesh pocket in the back for a camelbak bladder. It's not too heavy, and seems like it would be lite and cool. I don't know how long it would last if it were being used everyday, but it seems to be good enough for now!

excellent
This is an excellent vest I use it when I go to the gun range to hold extra magazines. You can detach the holster on your left and attach it to your belt which eliminate the need to buy a leg holster. It looks better in person and is fully adjustable also it has no strings like other vest its velcro.

Good vest for the price
Not the best, but for the price you can't go wrong. Only issue you may have is if you are a small person trying to wear this. It would be ok for a person with a 35 inch waist or larger.

Great Product
I wasn't exactly sure what to expect as far as quality goes on this vest but I was truly impressed. It's very heavy duty material including the velcro. It has enough straps to custom fit just about any body shape, a few adjustments and it fit like a glove. It's nice that it comes with a pistol holster AND a spare pocket for extra magazines so you can decide which one you'd like to use. Can't wait to load this thing up with clips and shells.

Extremely easy to put together and comes with it's own wrench, no tools needed.
4 year old daughter got on and within hours she was already gliding and on her way to riding a pedal-bike, I can absolutely say it moved her balance along. No running beside/behind hoping your kid doesn't wipe out and scream then afraid to get back on "horse".
Perhaps my only "concern" would be: paid 0 for something she rode for a week and moved on to a real bike. So it did what it was supposed to, so the question is was my daughters knee/ elbow skin worth 0- yes.. it appears residual value is pretty good.

Amelias first bike
I had purchased a Strider for my 2 year old grandson in the spring and my four year old grandaughter Amelia wanted one to. Hence a nice pink one. She was thrilled. It makes so much more sense than a bike with training wheels. The child learnes how to balance but has her feet close to the ground. Excellent product. Very well made. I'm sure they both will last long after the children move onto a regular bike. Thank you.

Excellent!
Coming up to my son's 2nd birthday I was looking for a good balance bike to begin teaching the basics of bike riding. Honestly, the most difficult part of the process was coming to grips with the fact that he WILL fall down. Regardless of the brand or design the bottom line is that children fall when learning to ride just about anything. If kids can fall out of a bed, they can fall off of a bike. The Strider was not the cheapest balance bike I looked at but also not the most expensive. What really sold me on it was the YouTube videos. Each video seemed to show how naturally the children took to it, so I bought one... and had the band-aids ready. On his birthday he knew immediately that it was bike and he hopped on right away (although not sitting on the seat). Later that day we took him to a nearby school with a running track and let him at it. He did a couple laps without sitting on the seat but walking the bike. Its not that the seat was too high, it lowers to 11 inches and at 2yrs he's in the 75th percentile in height. I actually raised it to about 12 and a half inches to begin. He was just more comfortable walking the bike for a while. We didn't really have to encourage him to sit on the seat, eventually he sort of just noticed that it was easier to sit down and walk than to stand. By the second day he was sitting and walking the bike, and after the first week he was "striding". Its been about three weeks now and he is confident enough to sit and ride and is really developing his balance. His feet stay off the ground a little longer each time he has enough momentum to carry him. He's just now beginning to use the footrests and is starting to ride down some small slopes. We have had no problems with the front wheel turning too sharply. It can rotate all the way around but is just stiff enough to keep him from over-steering. The tires do look and feel cheap but they're not. After three weeks on dirt, sidewalks, asphalt, and grass they still look as good as new once they've been cleaned. The bike is very light, even enough for him to walk the bike himself when crossing the street with us. I would definitely recommend the Strider to any parent. Oh, and he's only fallen about three times so far.

the kid loves it
herreallly liked it... i'm away so I dunno if he's actually learned to balance but I'm told hes on it even indoors.

My first Pedals
I can't compare these to anything else since they are my first but I rode over 700 miles with them so far and I am very happy. Especially when I got such a good deal on them at Amazon.

Love My pedals!!!
I got into biking about six months ago to try and lose some weight. I ride between 50 to 100 miles per week, and after about 15 miles my feet would start to fall asleep in my toe clips. I bought the shimano sport pedals hoping that I could ride longer without my feet falling asleep, and what a difference it has made! I love these pedals!!!

Worked great out of the box - rode 100 miles Sunday right after I received them. I'm going to order another pair to put on another bike.

Great value
This is a great value. The pedals are high quality, double-sided pedals that pedal smoothly. Plus the kit comes with a pair of SH-51 lateral release SPD cleats. Heck, the cleats alone cost , so to get good quality pedals *and* cleats at this price is a great value.

Can't beat the value. Good pedals -- great price. Easy to use and dependable.

Good Value, But...
First off, these dumbbells are a good per pound value. I won't deny that. However, I found the "ergo" handle less comfortable than a standard dumbbell handle. This was my opinion, and 5 out of 5 people I asked agreed. People bigger than myself agreed, so I don't think that the added size was the only reason.

My opinion would be to try to find these locally so you can compare to a more standard handle.

One of two boxes was destroyed in shipping (dumbbell was actually sitting on top of a ripped up box when I got home), but the weight was without a scratch, so I wouldn't really hold that against it.

As an alternative, I purchased a full set of Cap Barbell Solid Hex Single Dumbbell's which I purchased locally for the same price as these Champion dumbbells.

None of the 5 star reviews are wrong, and the value is there. I just wanted to add that the handles which are designed to improve grip / comfort aren't necessarily suited for everybody.

Great Value
I've got a whole set of these weights from 5 pound pairs to 50 pound pairs. They're not as pretty as the rubber coated and chrome sets but they cost significantly less. I got these all for less than 1.00 per pound which is cheaper than the average price for other brands. I looked at all of the sets available on Amazon and these were the best value.

The finish seems to be good quality and the rounded grips are more comfortable than standard ones. They weight exactly what they're supposed to and look nice and uniform across different weights.

Superbly designed, no muss - no fuss. WHile the packaging was simply destroyed, no harm was done to these beasts. Great value and would highly recommend. BTW, I would absolutely suggest that you use gloves for excessive lifting. My 60 minute workouts produce serious callouses...

Great gift for the avid golfer
I know several avid golfers who swear by the ProV1 golf ball and I've read that it's the ball most touring professionals. I was buying them as a gift, and I checked around and could not find them priced lower than at Amazon.

Not the real Titleist Pro V1
When you examine this ball closely you will find they have a seam. Compared against local store purchased balls and distinctly different. I purchased two dozen and examined every one. Either these balls are defective, seconds or substituted for the real pro V1.

Golf balls
This order never shipped. My money was taken, yet no golf balls were ever sent to my dad. I even paid extra for expedited shipping. So far, the sender has not responded to me.

1st PRO-V1 Purchase - ONLINE
This was the first time that I've used AMAZON and also the first time purchasing golf equipment ONLINE. These arrived much earlier that estimated; in excellent condition. I purchased these as USED, but..........they played like new and I couldn't tell a difference. Definetly will use AMAZON and this vendor in the future.
